About Palabra Media
Palabra Media is a multicultural marketing agency based in Phoenix. We help brands connect with Hispanic and diverse audiences through strategy, creative, digital marketing, public relations, video, and community outreach. Our clients range from local businesses to established brands and nonprofit organizations.
About the Role
We’re looking for a bilingual Account Manager who builds strong client relationships and keeps projects moving. You’ll serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, translate their business goals into clear direction for our team, and make sure our work delivers on what we promise.
This role requires someone who communicates confidently in English and Spanish, stays organized across multiple accounts, and understands how marketing connects to a client’s business. You should be comfortable leading a client meeting, reviewing a campaign, coordinating creative work, and addressing an issue before it becomes a bigger problem.
What You’ll Do
- Manage client relationships. Lead regular meetings, share updates, gather feedback, and maintain a clear understanding of each client’s goals and priorities.
- Turn goals into actionable work. Develop briefs, coordinate deliverables, and give the team the information and direction needed to execute.
- Keep projects on track. Manage timelines, approvals, dependencies, and follow-ups across multiple accounts.
- Coordinate across disciplines. Work with our creative, advertising, social media, web, SEO, video, and public relations teams.
- Communicate in both languages. Write and review client communications and marketing materials in English and Spanish, with attention to tone, accuracy, and cultural relevance.
- Review work before delivery. Check that deliverables meet the brief, reflect the client’s brand, and are ready for client review or launch.
- Monitor campaign performance. Work with specialists to interpret results and explain progress, challenges, and recommendations to clients.
- Manage expectations and scope. Track commitments, flag requests outside the agreed scope, and help resolve concerns promptly.
- Identify opportunities for growth. Recognize when additional services or a new approach could help a client reach their goals.
- Support community initiatives. Coordinate with partners, vendors, and event teams when client work includes outreach or local activation.
What You Bring
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- At least two years of experience in account management, marketing, project management, or a related client-facing role.
- Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing, including social media, paid advertising, websites, email marketing, and SEO.
- Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
- Confidence leading meetings, presenting recommendations, and having direct conversations about deadlines, scope, or performance.
- An understanding of Hispanic audiences and the cultural nuances that make marketing relevant.
- A collaborative approach and the judgment to know when to solve an issue independently or bring in the right teammate.
- Agency experience is a plus. Familiarity with project management platforms, CRMs, WordPress, Shopify, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, or GoHighLevel is also helpful. A degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is welcome; equivalent practical experience is equally valued.
What Success Looks Like
- Your clients know where their projects stand and trust you to follow through. Our team receives clear direction and timely feedback. Deadlines and approvals stay organized, concerns get addressed early, and the work stays connected to each client’s goals.
Why Palabra Media
You’ll work with a team that understands the communities our clients want to reach. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, take ownership of meaningful client relationships, and help businesses and organizations communicate more effectively in English and Spanish.
