Thursday, October 22, was a special night for Palabra Media. Our team took home three honors at the 2026 AZIMA TIM Awards in Tempe, recognizing our work in nonprofit website design, video storytelling, and agency leadership.

For an agency founded less than two and a half years ago, being recognized alongside some of Arizona’s most established marketing firms is something we are proud of. We know how much work it takes to earn a place in that room.

But the best part was seeing our clients’ names celebrated alongside ours. These awards recognize projects that began with a client trusting us with their story, their mission, and an important part of their business.

That trust remains our biggest honor.

Three Awards, One Proud Team

The Arizona Innovation Marketing Association’s TIM Awards celebrate achievement and innovation in digital marketing. Named after World Wide Web inventor Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the awards recognize the people and campaigns helping move our industry forward.

This year, Palabra Media received three honors:

  • Nonprofit Website — Award of Excellence: ALL In Education
  • Online Video — Award of Excellence: Elizabeth Lee for Congress
  • Interactive Rising Star: Joshua Molina, President and Chief Marketing Officer

Together, these honors reflect different parts of what we bring to our clients: thoughtful strategy, strong creative execution, and leadership that stays involved in the work.

Behind each recognition are team members who asked questions, developed ideas, worked through revisions, and cared about getting the details right. We are grateful to see that effort recognized by our industry.

Celebrating ALL In Education’s Website

Receiving an Award of Excellence for the ALL In Education website was especially meaningful because Victoria Paredes from ALL In Education joined us to accept it.

Sharing that moment with our client made the celebration even better. Our team helped bring the website to life, but the organization’s mission and the people behind it gave the project its purpose.

For a nonprofit, a website has an important job. It needs to help visitors understand the organization, find relevant information, and see how they can get involved. The design, content, and navigation all need to support that experience.

Our work with ALL In Education reflects how we approach nonprofit marketing: listen carefully, understand the mission, and build something that helps the organization communicate clearly.

We are proud of the finished website and even prouder that ALL In Education trusted us to create it.

Recognition for Elizabeth Lee’s Campaign Video

Our work for Elizabeth Lee for Congress received an Award of Excellence in Online Video.

Video brings together many of the skills we value at Palabra Media: interviewing, writing, visual storytelling, production, and editing. Every decision affects how an audience understands the person or organization on screen.

A campaign video also carries a particular responsibility. It must introduce a candidate in a way that feels clear and personal while giving viewers a reason to pay attention.

With a background in journalism, our founder, Joshua Molina, brings an appreciation for asking good questions and finding the story that matters. Our creative team builds on that foundation to produce work that gives clients a compelling way to communicate.

This recognition is a proud moment for everyone who contributed to the project, and we appreciate Elizabeth’s trust in our team.

A Leadership Honor That Belongs to the Team

Joshua’s recognition as an Interactive Rising Star was another highlight of the evening.

Building Palabra Media has required long days, difficult decisions, and a team willing to grow together. While this award carries Joshua’s name, the work behind it involves many people.

It includes the team members who bring their expertise to client projects, the partners who open doors for collaboration, and the clients who give us the opportunity to do meaningful work.

As a multicultural marketing agency in Phoenix, we have built our business around strategy, storytelling, and cultural understanding. We believe brands communicate better when they understand the people they want to reach. That belief continues to guide our work across industries and communities.

Our Clients Give Us the Recognition That Matters Every Day

Awards give us a reason to celebrate publicly. Client feedback tells us how we are doing throughout the year.

We are especially proud of our perfect Google review rating and grateful to every client who has taken the time to share their experience. Writing a review is a personal endorsement, and we take that seriously.

Choosing an agency means trusting people with your budget, your reputation, and your goals. Our responsibility is to earn that trust through the quality of our work and how we manage the relationship.

A client recommending us to another business owner, returning with a new project, or sharing positive feedback with our team means a great deal. Those moments help us understand the value of the relationships we are building.

A Growing Record of Recognition

The TIM Awards add to other meaningful milestones, including Joshua’s recognition as ALPFA Phoenix Entrepreneur of the Year and Palabra Media’s Better Business Bureau accreditation. Each acknowledges a different part of building a business, from entrepreneurship to accountability.

We appreciate that recognition, and we know there is more work ahead.

To our clients: thank you for trusting us. To our team: thank you for caring about the work and the people behind it. To our partners and community: thank you for helping a young agency grow.

We are proud to bring home three AZIMA TIM Awards. We are even more excited about what we get to create with our clients next.

Why Representation in Tech Matters to All of Us

On October 1, I had the opportunity to deliver the opening remarks at Latinas in Tech Arizona's Comunidad Con Café: Brewing Our Future at Fair Trade Café in Phoenix. I brought more than 10 years of experience leading marketing teams in the technology industry into that conversation. I also brought a question that stayed with me throughout those years: Why were there so few people who looked like us in the rooms where decisions were being made?
