- Schedule discovery meetings for agency leadership.
- Maintain accurate prospect information and follow-up activity in our CRM.
- Build and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Follow up with inbound leads, referrals and previous prospects.
- Attend local networking, business and community events as a representative of Palabra Media.
- Collaborate with leadership and the marketing team on outreach campaigns, presentations and proposals.
- Stay informed about Palabra Media’s services, client results and target industries.
- Meet weekly and monthly goals for outreach, qualified conversations, meetings and new opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in business development, sales, account management, recruiting or a related client-facing role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable starting conversations with business owners, executives and marketing leaders.
- Organized, consistent and disciplined with follow-up.
- Able to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions and identify real business needs.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working toward measurable goals.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales prospecting tools.
- Interest in marketing, advertising, media or business growth.
- Existing relationships within the Phoenix business community are a plus.
- Spanish-language skills and experience working with multicultural communities are strongly preferred.
What Success Looks Like
- Consistently generating qualified meetings with prospective clients.
- Building a healthy pipeline across Palabra Media’s priority industries.
- Developing strong relationships with business and community leaders.
- Keeping prospect records and follow-up activity organized and current.
- Helping the agency win new accounts that are a strong fit for our services and culture.
